Abstract

This paper describes topics appropriate for an upper level course on web application development. A course developed by the author serves as a model and discusses a number of variations and alternatives. The primary goal of the course is to provide broad coverage of the fundamentals of creating dynamic database backed web applications using leading edge technologies, such as ASP.NET. The course is designed to be accessible to both computer science and information systems majors.
