Abstract

Our team has achieved a study about the current state of the integration of information systems and data within romanian universities. At this moment, the Romanian universities are using a pretty high number of various information systems, none of them covering all the specific business flows or ensuring the integration of all the functional areas in a university. This paper offers a view of the present situation in the Romanian academic environment and identifies the main factors that determined it.
