Abstract

This paper describes a computerized collaborative testing environment in which students can take an assessment session in groups. For each question, an individual response is firstly requested, then students are allowed to view the answers of the others and discuss the question. After that a final response is requested. This collaborative environment has been used to measure the effect of collaboration in test performance obtaining promising results that indicates that all students improve their performance no matter what their knowledge levels are.
