Our objective is to construct English grammar learning support system which provides fill-in-the-blank exercises. In our system, the knowledge network, which represents relations among exercises based on differences in their knowledge, is introduced. Exercises are linked based on the inclusive relation of their knowledge. According to the acquired/in-acquired knowledge determined by the learner's answer, the system traverses the knowledge network and gives the exercise containing knowledge that the learner needs to learn. We implemented an web-based system and evaluated the effectiveness for our selection mechanism. As a result, the mechanism was effective for learning in-acquired knowledge step by step.
