A new Radau IIA code with an order of 17 is programmed for the well-known implicit Runge-Kutta program package RADAU. Several numerical examples are reported in this article to demonstrate the performance and efficiency of the new algorithm. They are real stiff problems obtained from the simulation of mechanical systems.
