Abstract

Using Nielsen's well-established Heuristic Evaluation normally used for gathering qualitative feedback, this paper describes a user study conducted on the National Library Board's Digital Library (NLBDL) in Singapore to gather quantitative feedback on users' perceptions regarding compliance/ violation of design heuristics implemented, and draw recommendations for design refinement.
