Many products with embedded electronic systems demand high reliability and high security, such that they can be trusted to operate in safety-critical applications. Safe and secure system engineering requires designers to consider all the consequences of errors and intrusions in their systems in addition to normal modes of operation. The proposed system for embedded control system meets the requirements of fault tolerance as a major issue. Fault tolerance proposed in this paper is based on redundancy, transient faults, and fault detection which are processed by software techniques. This fault tolerance system can enhance analysis capabilities for critical safety properties and reduce certification costs.
