We propose a framework for translucent objects rendering based on precomputed light transport. We apply the two-pass hierarchical technique by Jensen in the space of non-linearly approximated transport vectors, which allows us to efficiently evaluate transport vectors due to diffuse multiple scattering. Single scattering is incorporated too by considering Wang Rui's approximation. A technique from BRDF rendering is introduced to factor the phase function using a separable decomposition by Kautz to allow for decoupled precomputation and rendering. Using this approach, we achieve interactive frame rates comparable to the state-of-the-art systems.
