Abstract

Based on innovation diffusion theory, an individual's decision to adopt an innovation is related to how the individual in question perceives the innovation. Of concern to this study is whether or not a natural language interface can modify how the characteristics of a technological innovation are perceived. This issue will be examined by exploring the impact of a natural language interface on individual perceptions of computer assisted journalism.
