Abstract

Due to the inevitable existance of location errors in WSN with localization, there is the need to study the impact of errors on geographic routing. In this paper, we focus on some of the fundamental issues caused by location errors in the design of energy-efficient geographic routing algorithms in WSNs. The results of our analysis show the clear need of an energy-efficient geographic routing protocol which not only tolerates location errors but also achieves reduced energy consumption.
