The paper proposes and compares two parallel algorithms for GPU simulation of a mass-spring cloth model and image based collision detection and response approach. The algorithms are implemented using three different APIs for GPU programming: OpenGL plus GLSL, NVIDIA CUDA and OpenCL. The speed of the two algorithms is measured on each of the APIs and results are presented. Conclusions are drawn at the end of the paper.
