In our daily lives, we often feel depressed on rainy days. In this research, we aim to relieve these kinds of unpleasant feelings by providing a novel entertainment system using raindrops. More concretely, we propose an interactive display named "rainterior" that can illuminate collisions of raindrops on a water surface by using a projector-camera system. According to the positions of raindrops, the appearance of the water surface changes and sounds are generated in real-time. In this paper, we describe the concept, system design and implementation of rainterior.
