Helsinki Arena 2000 was a catalyst project to quicken the adaptation of broadband usage and strengthen such usage models and technological capabilities that would increase local content provision in a way that would be beneficial commercially both to local community and local operator, which acted as the prime mover of the project. Many useful approaches were studied and advocated, and the project was the umbrella for these activities.
