Abstract

The distribution design of the computing load between the central processor and graphics accelerator for particle animation systems is presented. A method for compressing data streams between the system and graphic memory is proposed. The method for formations and animations of particle shapes directly on a graphics accelerator is described. An efficient particle-sorting method is presented.
