Nth bitting, a simple scheme for increasing apparent addressability in edge positioning of antialiased objects is presented. The method has application in combination with relatively coarse supersampling grids, providing much smoother edges. In contrast with the method developed by A. Schilling (1990), the extra information added along the edge is the highest frequency possible.
