Environmental issues such as global warming are an active area of international research and concern today. In this context, the study of global scale ocean models has emerged as an important application of flow visualization. This paper describes the AGP visualization system for ocean models, addresses data handling issues, and presents the color whee lflow visualization technique. Example visualizations are shown for a model of the Pacific Ocean.
