Abstract

The aim of this paper is to present the performance and stability analysis of a reliable multicast system. It has been optimized for use in distributed virtual environments and is implemented in Java. The paper will describe the characteristics of our reliable multicast implementation, as observed in our test environment. We will also compare with nonreliable multicast protocols.
