The term "wiki" refers to a social computing systemthat allows a group of users to initiate and evolve ahyper-linked set of web pages using a simple markuplanguage. Wiki collaboration systems encouragestudent-centered learning environments, because theyencourage students to be co-creators of coursecontent. However, there are several problems with thetraditional wiki paradigm for use in the classroom. This paper identifies these problems, and describes asystem we implemented to solve them.
