This study investigates the importance of context-awarenessand adaptation in mobile learning. Context-awaremobile learning that senses mobile environmentand reacts to changing context during learning processhas four interaction modes with three mobile entities ofdifferent mobility. Contexts in mobile learning arecategorized into six dimensions that form a contextspace. Several mobile learning systems are examinedaccording to the definition of context-aware mobilelearning. Challenging issues of context awareness andadaptation are explored.
