This work describes a prototype system, which enables the measurement of gaze point on the screen surface of a handheld mobile device, without constraining the user's natural movements. The method is software based, and integrates a commercial eye tracking device with a magnetic positional tracking device. The evaluation of the system shows that it is capable of producing valid data with adequate accuracy.
