Abstract

Software quality assurance activities typically do not receive much attention in the undergraduate computer science curriculum. This paper endeavors to provide a stepping- stone for incorporating these activities into courses across-the-curriculum. In the paper we delineate a set of quality assurance activities that we were able to incorporate into a CS 1 course. In addition, we reflect on the impact of the inclusion of these activities in terms of coverage of topics and on student performance.
