The literature reports many efforts with respect to facilitate building applications using non-traditional input devices --- for instance to support those designers who do not master the low level programming demanded for building sensor-based applications. We present an architectural approach to support the flexible customization of sensor-based input devices so as to provide a systematic procedure to personalize input devices.
