Working collaboratively over networks is ultimately about communication, if the interface between people communicating is not transparent enough then the event is affected and 'navigation' starts to replace the communication. The Forum is a two-part communication environment designed to transparently foster communication between colleagues who cannot be together but who work together. Combining virtual environments and agent technology and using implied navigation we have created a prototype environment that we will be using with customers in the near future.
