Modelling and visualisation can provide valuable insights into the chaotic system in operation when farmers spray their crops. L-system models of maize plant development provide a platform for simulation of spray dynamics in the crop. Particle systems capture spray droplet flight, impact and splash. Visualisations will lead to better understanding of the spray-canopy interface.
