The VLCC (Visual Language Compiler-Compiler) system has been developed for the automatic generation of visual programming environments. It supports the implementation of a visual language by assisting the language designer during the definition of the graphical objects, the syntax and the semantics of the language. The final result of the generation process consists of an integrated environment comprising an editor and a compiler for the defined visual language.
