Abstract

In this paper we present a communication and discussiontoolkit based on sending short messages designed for usein schools. Our approach uses PDAs in a wirelessnetwork to build an environment that emulates sending ofshort messages with mobile phones. The messages createdby the students are collected in a database and establish abase for a discussion and analysis later on using CoolModes, a graph based modeling and discussion system.
