Abstract

In this paper we discuss virtual reconstruction of real scenes from photographs. In particular, we discuss extraction of the geometry of the scene from the photographs, as well as a new method for determining the reflectance properties for the virtualized objects. We then present a new method for representing view-dependant information in the reconstructed scene.
