The support for 3D technologies in Digital Television (DTV) environment extend the possibilities of entertainment and interactivity. In this paper we describe an architecture for integrating 3D technologies in middleware for Digital Television Systems. As a case study, we'll present the use of the proposed strategy in the Brazilian Digital Television middleware, which is called Ginga. The integration strategies will be presented and compared with other studies in the literature. Finally, we present an architecture based on the proposed strategies.
