The article shows the method of verification the accuracy of processing geometry by comparing the contours of the real block of ice with its model, during the melting process. This method is common, and it can be used for testing visualization of melting, sublimation and ablation phenomenon and other processes of the material decomposition. So far the reliability of geometric changes of the visualized ice has been assessed on the eye.
