Algorithms are presented to render dynamic foreground images with shadows cast on static background scenes. The algorithms are based on the ray-tracing technique. We can produce complex and shaded animation with a lower cost. The target display device for these algorithms is a two-channel display in which one is for the background and the other is for the foreground.
