Internet and traditional EDI have natural differences in the number of communication protocols, cost, reliability and security. It is imperative to assess the applicability of traditional EDI literatures on the Internet EDI. This paper investigates factors influencing the decision of an organization to implement Internet EDI. Some managerial, other than technical or economic, studies have shown that three major factors -- power, trust and vision -- have impact on interorganizational information systems (IOS). This study will assess their importance in the innovation adoption process of Internet EDI.
