Tree modeling is challenging because of its complexity. In this paper, an interactive tree modeling system is devised based on fractal. The modeling is decomposed into two parts: the branches generated with fractal method and the tree whole shape created with global algorithm. The leaf unit and branch unit are the two smallest units of tree modeling and each unit has its own parameters. User can change the units' parameters values to control the tree structure. Two editors are proposed for user to control the process of modeling. The interface is simple and the results look natural.
