The potential of computer-aided learning (CAL) rests in its ability to present information in different ways according to the characteristics of the learning material and the students' needs. We present five major factors for developing CAL tools-theories for learning, multimedia didactic, learning technologies, information modes in human-computer interaction, and user acceptance.
