Abstract

This paper describes a computer supportedubiquitous learning environment for languagelearning. This paper proposes two systems. The first iscontext-aware language-learning support system forJapanese polite expressions learning, which is calledJAPELAS (Japanese polite expressions learningassisting system). This system provides learner theappropriate polite expressions deriving the learner'ssituation and personal information. The second systemis called TANGO (Tag Added learNinG Objects)system, which detects the objects around learner usingRFID tags, and provides the learner the educationalinformation. This paper describes the preliminaryevaluation of those two systems.
