Abstract

Interactive projection shows that handheld projection is a practical and useful addition to mobile computing. Two aspects of the work, familiar from different areas of the existing literature, are keystone correction to remove warping effects when the projector is at an angle to the display surface and stabilization to remove hand jitter from the projection. A new interaction technique demonstrates how familiar mouse interactions can be done on a projection via a natural single-handed pointing motion of the projector.
